Annual Conference. The Institute for Healthcare Improvement hosts this Forum every year with more than 3,000 delegates attending a 3 day Conference to learn, network and plan health improvement strategies. Cgov will be attending as part of an international group representing innovations in safety and quality in healthcare. Version 7 of the Cgov Private Cloud is now in live use in Europe and we plan for 4 weeks live testing before we upgrade Australian customers to this new Release in late April. Version 7 will be released as a normal Constructive Maintenance upgrade but because the database is also being upgraded, the system will not be available for up to 6 hours on the evening of the upgrade. We plan for this to occur from 10pm to 4am that night. A formal notice will be emailed to all System Managers as soon as we confirm the exact date.
New Cgov Solutions:
Ethics Process Management. As an upgrade to the Research Management Solution developed in 2017 we have now developed the additional business processes for Ethics Approval Management. The new business processes deal with the specific requirements for Ethics Approval for Animal Ethics, Social Science and Medical and Health project ethics.
Incentives Management. Incentives management is a new development using a completely new portal for hosting Cgov Solutions. It operates a website for the management of employee incentives, e.g. for remote area postings. Each user has an account with a credit to spend; using a shopping cart of incentive products or discounts. It operates like a frequent flyer program for employees, where you can earn and spend points.
March has been a big month for Cgov. We have officially opened our new Melbourne Office located at Level 5, 11 Queens Road, Melbourne VIC 3004. The direct office phone number is 03 8530 7071. Two new interns have been employed to assist Varsha in Melbourne; Ben Freund and Adam Mustapic, who started work on 6th March. On 17th April we will welcome a new intern to the Brisbane Office when Lauren Roff starts work at Cgov.
2018 will be a year of significant expansion for Cgov both in our product range and our staff; but we are committed to even better levels of direct support and familiarity with your individual solutions. Growing larger is no excuse for losing touch with individual customers needs.
