New Privacy Compliance:
By now you may have been informed of the changes to Privacy Law in Australia and the European Union. In Australia the Mandatory Data Breach (MDB) Regulations were enacted in Feb, in response to these provisions it is Cgov Policy to always inform the Customer Account of any reportable data privacy breach, as you are the Data Controller for all personal and sensitive information collected in your Cgov Apps. To perform this task we will require details for your Privacy Officer who will be notified in the event of a breach. We will be requesting details for this POC over the new few weeks.
In Europe the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was enacted on 25 May. This applies obligations on Data Processors (Cgov) and Data Controllers (You) who may hold personal or sensitive data on Residents of the EU.
Under the GDPR and the Australian MDB requirements, Cgov is a Data Processor for the Content you choose to collect and store in your Cgov Solutions, including any personal or sensitive data. You are the Data Controller responsible for the consent, collection and management of the data in accordance with both GDPR and MDB requirements.

As a result the Cgov forms used by your organisation to collect personal information should carry your Organisation’s privacy and consent information and links to your Privacy Policy. We can assist you to make these changes immediately you make the appropriate details available to us. Your Privacy Policy should include reference to the existence and role of Data Processors such as Cgov.

The Cgov Privacy Policy both as a Data Processor for your data and as a Data Controller for data collected directly for our internal business processes will be available through all Cgov Subscription Agreements.

New Cgov Solutions:
Junior Doctors Onboarding, Allocation and Roster Management. This Solution has been in live use for almost 3 years now, and after the feedback from last years Conference; we have just completed a major upgrade and added new functionality.  After managing the Appointment and Onboarding of Junior Dr’s; Cgov can now also manage the Allocation process for Interns, HMO’s and Registrars using online forms and then link this data to a dynamic 52 Week Roster. This data can now also be integrated with 3rd Party HR or Rostering Systems using Cgov Access web services.

Audit Mate: The new Cgov Form Building Tool is an enhancement to the current Audit Solution to allow Customers to use an excel file to load the majority of form configuration settings for a new Audit Form automatically. This now allows you to create copies of existing audits or to update the excel file to create new audits automatically. This new feature will be demonstrated at our Conference in September.

Office News:
The 2017-18 financial year is finishing on a high note with many Customers renewing their Subscription on 30 June. Thank you for your continuing support. Next FY will be a year of significant expansion for Cgov both in our product range and our Offices in Brisbane and Melbourne; but we are committed to even better levels of direct support for your individual solutions. Growing larger is no excuse for losing touch with individual customers needs.

Finally, from the entire Cgov Team, we would like to wish you a very happy EOFY!
