Update for Cgov Pharmacy IPA
Office Covid-19 Update:
The Brisbane office is now running at 100% with everyone back in the Office. The Melbourne office remains closed and all staff continue to work from home. This is likely to continue until at least the end of September. Our thoughts are with Varsha and her team and all our customers in Victoria at this frustrating time. Please call us in Brisbane on 07 3211 4444 or use direct emails to contact your Melbourne based Consultants. New IDIS cases should still be submitted using the online form.
Systems Manager Training:
One of the popular features of this year’s Conference would have been the Day 3 training opportunities for Systems Managers. As a result we have decided to continue to offer this training as a series of online webinars in October for any users who would like to refresh, or learn new skills, as a Cgov System Manager.
System Manager Level 1 (SML1):
This session is for users that would like refresher training, or had not received SML1 training. The focus on this training is: Forms, Templates, Reports and User Management.
- System Manager level 1 – up to 4 people for $450 excluding GST
System Manager level 2 (SML2):
This session is for System Managers that have completed SML1 training. It will focus on more complex training including: Forms, Backoffice, External Sources, Templates, Workflows and advanced functionality including file questions and advanced reports.
- System Manager level 2 – up to 2 people for $450 excluding GST
Where possible training will be site specific. Please contact us on 07 3211 4444 to discuss your options and organise a session.
Cgov at the AIDH Conference:
The Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH) has rescheduled its Annual Conference as a roadshow from 10- 20 November 2020. Specific dates where we are attending are:
- Brisbane 10th November
- Sydney 17th November
- Melbourne 20th November
Cgov will have an exhibit in both Brisbane and Melbourne and we have also requested a case study presentation in Sydney. If you attend any of these events, please drop in to say hello. Our focus at the AIDH is to promote our success as a No Code Application Development framework with both the toolkit and the methodology necessary for success.

Pharmacy IPA and PGA Approvals and High Cost Drug Management App:
This new App has now been implemented in 8 health service sites and is under consideration for Statewide implementation in both NSW and WA.
The Cgov IPA or IPU solution automates the workflow for Pharmacy approval of non-standard (Formulary) medications and high cost drugs. It replaces current paper forms, spreadsheets and databases which are affected by information loss, slow responses, and a lack of clinical or financial review.
The workflow also includes automatic follow up at the end of the prescription period with a requirement for the prescribing authority to report on the patient outcome and any adverse reactions. This follow up also asks if a renewal of the prescription is required; and this is processed automatically using the existing application data.
The IPA/IPU Solution is completely configurable to use the approval processes and workflow required for your local organisation. This is a great example how Cgov can make a difference, especially with our new smartphone iForms interface. Call us on 07 3211 4444 for a demonstration.
