Managing staff vaccinations with seamless integration with the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) is live. Let us help your organisation manage current and future vaccination requirements with the Cgov Vaccination Tracker – either linked to Cgov Credentialing or Cgov Staff Health Records.

Did you know…..Cgov Staff Health Records helps organisations meet the NSQHS Standard 3.2 requirement, which is Preventing and Controlling Healthcare-Associated Infection Standards. This requires health service organisations to apply a quality improvement system to prevent and control healthcare-associated infectons and support antimicrobial stewardship.

News  – Australia now has the first national standard on sepsis care

Each year more than 8,700 Australians will lose their lives from sepsis, which kills more people every year than road traffic accidents or stroke.

A new standard of care for sepsis was released in June that will improve the recognition and management of sepsis and its after-effects. Knowing the signs and symptoms of sepsis can be difficult because they can overlap with other health conditions.

The Sepsis Clinical Care Standard was developed by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. The standard outlines optimal care for patients in hospital with suspected sepsis – from the onset of symptoms, through to discharge from hospital and follow-up care.

Expanding Solutions for our Cgov Customers!

Mackay Hospital and Health Service, in Queensland, recently purchased the Cgov IPA Solution for their hospital pharmacy department. Several other sites have found a 38% reduction in the average cost of new non-formulary drug approvals in the first six months. Save money, save time, and create increased transparency for in-patient pharmacy budgets.  Let us know if you would like more information!
