Cgov Road Map Update:

At our Cgov Conference in September we introduced attendees to our Road Map for 2023. The Roadmap is divided into three sections: Integration, Solution and Platform. We are pleased update you that SMS messaging and AHPRA nightly refresh are available. We are currently working through integration options for Working with Children’s Checks, Visa checks and Criminal History Checks. We will continue to keep you updated via our newsletter on this progress.

In regards to Platform updates, Ben and Julia have returned from their visit to TPSC in the Netherlands. Discussions centred around platform enhancements required by Cgov, the 12 month TPSC Product Roadmap and of course Security. We will provide you with more information regarding the new features in the coming newsletters.

Version 8 Update:

Version 8 is here! The deployment of Version 8 upgrades will begin this week. These are being completed incrementally and you will be notified prior to the upgrade taking place in your environment. The upgrade itself will be seamless, completed outside of business hours and no work is required from your end after it has been successful. After the upgrade has been successfully completed in your environment you will receive a confirmation notification which will contain the relevant documentation and release notes. We are currently on track to have all sites upgraded before our Christmas shut-down!

Version 8 of our platform mainly consists of enhancements related to performance, security & productivity with the biggest change being the addition of the ‘My Portal’.

Another enhancement within Version 8 is the ability to change the session timeout time! In Version 7 this was set to 30 minutes by default with the inability to increase it which caused a lot of headaches with users getting logged out whilst actioning files within Cgov.

We’ve completed webinars over the past couple months with system administrators to go through these changes and the functionalities of ‘My Portal’ but if you’ve happened to miss out on these or have any other questions regarding Version 8 please email Ben at bfreund@cgov.com.au.
