Version 8 & the migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Servers
Thanks to hard work from our consultants and developers we can proudly announce that Version 8 of our software is ready for deployment in 2022. This version will contain several enhancements in terms of performance, security and productivity.
In conjunction with the Version 8 upgrade, we will also be migrating all of clients from Rackspace/IBM servers to AWS Servers. Each client will be migrated separately and we will be in contact with the system administrator from your organisation regarding the schedule of the migration. You are not required to do anything and will benefit from the improvements of the new version build directly after the migration.
Further documentation will be provided surrounding Version 8 closer to its release.
Back Office Revamp
After a lot of feedback from our customers on how we can improve the day to day user experience, it’s our pleasure to announce our next major upgrade to the platform, which is a revamp to the Back Office.
We are working with our developers to not only revamp the platform but to also implement improvements that will make working inside an application easier and faster.
Whilst we are still at the very early stage of development, some of the innovations being implemented are:
- The most important parts of a file are loaded immediately and you can easily scroll to a different location in the document. It is no longer necessary to switch sections each time to add an attachment, change the information of the report form or add your own information.
- No more annoying pop-up windows. For example, when you want to add an attachment, it is done via an overlay. On the right side a strip appears where the action can be performed. The strip is an integral part of the screen in which you are currently active.
- All actions in a file can also be done via a tablet or smartphone. You are no longer reliant on a PC/laptop to handle a file.
