New modules in Cgov's Credentialing Solution: Allied Health, Shared Maternity Care, and Sabbatical Leave
Tuesday, 11 November 2025
Credentialing is a cornerstone of healthcare governance, ensuring that practitioners meet the standards required to deliver safe, high-quality care. As healthcare organisations face increasing complexity in managing practitioner compliance and workforce planning, Cgov continues to evolve its Credentialing Solution to meet these demands.
We’re proud to introduce three new modules that expand the capabilities of our Credentialing Solution: Allied Health Credentialing Lite, Shared Maternity Care Credentialing, and Sabbatical Leave Application Management. Each module is designed to streamline processes, reduce administrative burden, and support better oversight across healthcare organisations.
Allied Health Credentialing Lite
Allied Health Credentialing Lite is a ready-to-use solution that simplifies the task of tracking compliance for Allied Health practitioners. It supports both Ahpra-registered and non-Ahpra practitioners, helping organisations maintain high standards of safety and quality.
This module includes workflows for new applications and renewals, a single level of approval or endorsement, and a customised scope of practice. Organisations can create tailored online application forms and manage referees where applicable. Credentialing Officers have access to manage files and oversee compliance, supported by a user-friendly dashboard and customised reporting tools.
Key document management is included for up to three document types, such as certificates, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and Professional Association Memberships for Non-Ahpra practitioners. Integration with Ahpra allows accurate tracking of registration status for all Ahpra registered allied health members.
Shared Maternity Care Credentialing
Credentialing for Shared Maternity Care providers often involves multiple craft groups, including GPs, midwives, and specialists. The Shared Maternity Care Credentialing module offers a unified, intuitive experience for managing applications and renewals across all these groups.
This module features a single smart online application form that accommodates all Shared Maternity Care craft groups. The step-by-step workflow guides applicants through the credentialing process, whether they are applying for the first time or renewing their credentials. Automated referee collection and tracking can help to reduce manual follow-up and improve turnaround times.
Administrators and applicants benefit from a real-time dashboard that provides visibility into application status. Customised reporting tools support compliance tracking and decision-making, making the process faster, clearer, and more consistent.
Sabbatical Leave Application Management
Sabbatical leave is an important part of professional development and workforce sustainability in healthcare. However, managing sabbatical requests can be complex. The Sabbatical Leave Application module simplifies this process with a structured, transparent workflow that aligns with organisational policies.
The module includes leave eligibility verification and a multi-level approval workflow to ensure consistency and accountability. Organisations can track leave duration, purpose, and conditions, helping to maintain operational continuity and support strategic workforce planning.
Workflows can be localised to reflect each organisation’s specific policies and procedures. A user-friendly dashboard and customised reports provide visibility into leave trends and outcomes, supporting both HR and operational teams.
