By connecting Cgov solutions to your established systems it helps to speed up processing time, reduce errors.

Benefits

Secure data flows

Data flow can be customised based on your organisations requirement. This means data can be inbound (pulled into Cgov from other systems), outbound (pushed from Cgov to other systems) or bi-directional (flowing both to and from Cgov to other systems).

Bespoke integration

Connections can be made to any platform that allows the import and/or export of data. This means that data handling between an existing system and the Cgov toolkit can be done automatically keeping your records and systems in sync at all times.

Live integrations

Cgov has existing connections to key healthcare data systems. Bespoke connections to systems can be created. Speak to us to find out more.

Inbound integration with the AHPRA Practitioner Information Exchange (PIE) web service, retrieves AHPRA data based on a practitioners unique AHPRA registration number.

  • Able to record the AHPRA details at the time of onboarding/credentialing, with the inbuilt AHPRA registration process.
  • Daily refreshes are completed on each practitioner AHPRA Alerts record.
  • Records in Cgov are flagged if there is a change to their AHPRA restrictions.
  • Available with the Cgov Credentialing or Medical Workforce Management solutions.

Reduce the manual workload. This integration enables users to manage AHPRA records by exception, only reviewing the records that Cgov has flagged as an alert.

Bi-directional integration is available with the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) allowing Cgov to directly gather the immunisation history of practitioners and staff members within your organisation.

  • Conduct an accurate analysis of immunisation compliance within your organisation by quickly pulling information from the AIR to Cgov
  • Automatically push vaccination information conducted within your health service to the AIR.
  • Consent from users on behalf of their health service is required, prior to downloading their information into Cgov.
  • Available with the Cgov Staff Medical Records and Vaccination Tracking solutions.

Conform with government regulations to ensure immunisation compliance across your workforce.

Inbound integration with Medical Council of New Zealand allows tracking of practitioner alerts based on.

  • Weekly refreshes for each practitioner based on their MCNZ ID number.
  • Track as conditions are added or changed within MCNZ, flagging the Cgov record if action is required.
  • A practitioner’s Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is also tracked to flag when a practitioner has not renewed their certificate.
  • Automated notifications of changes to conditions and APCs can be sent to key system users

Our MCNZ Alerts solution can be combined with your bespoke credentialing solution, to allow your executive team to have weekly oversight over their practitioner’s registration details.

Cgov has bi-directional integration opportunities between your Cgov solution and SAP SuccessFactors. This can be built bespoke for your organisation, with the ability to specify the dataset that will be imported or exported and when the data is updated and the frequency at which this integration process occurs.

SuccessFactors integration has seen great success in alleviating issues with double data entry by automating the creation of Cgov files via inbound CSV file transfers. Using SuccessFactors as a source of truth, Cgov credentialing files can be created and set to automatically start the credentialing process without requiring any user input. Once a file is created, we also offer the ability to keep information in Cgov updated with any changes that occur in SuccessFactors in order to maintain data consistency across both platforms.

Cgov can update SuccessFactors directly with key credentialing information obtained from the credentialing process. This will typically include credentialing expiry dates, granted scope of clinical practices, and the outcome of the credentialing process, but can easily be expanded to include any data within the Cgov credentialing system.

Cgov has implemented integration with Patient Administration Systems, namely WebPAS. The usage of WebPAS integration is typically outbound, and allows information from the practitioners Cgov credentialing file, such as the practitioners personal details, provider number, specialty, HPII, indemnity status and expiry dates to be shared via their PAS ID. This integration is implemented in such a way that if any of these details are changed, we can update WebPAS with the new information as it becomes available to ensure data consistency across both platforms.

Bi-directional integration is possible with Payroll and Human Resource Management systems, such as PayGlobal. Cgov has implemented examples of inbound integration, to gather information from the PayGlobal internal system to populate/update dataset within the Cgov system. Like with SAP SuccessFactors, integration with PayGlobal automates the process of creating and updating Cgov files, which helps alleviate issues with double data entry and lightens the workload of your credentialing and workforce management teams.

Cgov also has the ability to update PayGlobal with key information obtained from the related Cgov solution(s).

Bi-directional integration has been configured to Cgov systems, with the cloud-based financial management software, Workday. The integration with Workday has allowed our customer to seamlessly create and update files in the Cgov system, massively reducing workload on the end user while also assisting to preventing data integrity issues caused by duplicate data entry.

In addition to receiving data from Workday, Cgov can also export data from the Cgov system to Workday to keep both systems up to date. Key examples of this include exporting data from the credentialing process (expiry dates, granted scope of clinical practices, and the outcome of the credentialing process, etc.) and the vaccination tracker solution (vaccination dates, compliances, etc.).

Outbound integration has been provided with the document and record management software TRIM. Our integration with this platform has allowed any attachments within the Cgov platform to be saved into the record management system.

Cgov has functionality to send SMS (short messaging service or ‘text’) messages from the system. Text messaging can be used to send a short message or reminder to the staff or practitioners to inform them of a required action in the system. Cgov utilises communication service providers such as ClickSend and MessageMedia to securely send SMS communication to your staff, with the ability to expand use other service providers as needed.

SAML2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language) is a method of Single Sign On, which is an add-on to the platform. The process allows users to login to the Cgov platform using an existing authentication method, such as a Microsoft Active Directory service. This means that the user management of the Cgov system can be controlled entirely within your existing authentication system, saving time on user provisioning and deprovision, as well as ensuring that the Cgov platform conforms to your organisation’s user requirements such as password strength and multi-factor authentication.

Cgov has an active integration service with Avant C.O.I (Certificate of Insurance) to directly import insurance information from Avant directly into your Cgov Key Documents solution. Cgov requires consent from the practitioner to use this automated service prior to importing any information.

  • This functionality integrates with an automated service to import insurance data when renewed.
  • If the practitioner complies with this service, it automatically imports the expiry, policy status and other information into the Cgov system.

This functionality greatly benefits both the organisation and the practitioner, saving time and improving the accuracy of current certificates. For the practitioner, there is no requirement to provide update renewal information for their insurance to the health service, as this will be provided automatically through this service. With less workload on the practitioners themselves, the organisation can see the indemnity renewal information in the system as soon as it has granted by Avant.
